UIC Group Obtains ISO 14001 certification
UIC Group is pleased to announce it has earned ISO 14001 Environmental Standard Certification, the internationally recognized standard for an Environmental Management System (EMS). This is an important step in the right direction and part of a much wider environmental management policy, which encompasses UIC Group's global network.
By establishing a commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle waste and to efficiently use energy, UIC is taking an important step toward preserving the environment. Based on the above guidelines, we set forth three principles as our Environmental Policy:
• Enhancement of Environment
• Management of Green UIC
• Prevention of Pollution
UIC recognizes that one of the main challenges facing industry is environmental responsibility and we, as part of the World, recognizes environmental responsibility as an integral part of manufacturing excellence and our future success. We strive for environmental excellence by developing environmental responsibility across all levels of our organization through awareness and training programmes. We are committed to continually improving our environmental programmes through a team of full time environmental engineers to implement, run, review and continuously improve our Environmental Management System.
